Postcard from Puerto Mont

We arrive this morning, after our sojourn at sea. Under dove grey clouds, our ship weighed anchor in the harbour. The tender boats were launched, to transport us to the shore.

We enjoyed a Chilean, #cappuccinosaroundtheworld. Wondering back to the ship, we found Elias, a jeweller who makes silver jewellery from local precious stones. He remembered us from our trip here, last year. I now am the proud owner of some lapis lazuli earrings! We also bumped into two friends who work on the ship, James and Anya. Then the sun broke free, and grey turned to blue. The local volcano Calbuco, appeared in all its glory, like a mini Mount Fuji. Happy days.
