My Father, Charles Lossl, served in the Royal Army Catering Corps.
His brother, Ernie Lossl, a lad from Whitechapel, London, served in the Germany Army. What attracted him to the regime, one wonders?
I have coloured the original B&W photos using Photomyne. Not having may pictures of my father, I love his happy smiling photo. Charlie is the chef on the left. He was honoured to prepare a meal for Winston Churchill.
Such a good idea to include some family photos, and wonderful to see them with colour added!
