Beautiful Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugali

Hello dear friends. We set off from Lisbon on Monday, aboard MS Veendam. After two relaxing days at sea, we have docked in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal. The islands lie, about 900 miles, off the coast from Portugal. Azores means blue, these verdant islands have a blue tinge from the flora. The mosaic paths are fashioned from the volcanic rock of the island. The people are friendly and welcoming. The sea food is amazing, complimented by the local beer. Set in on meeting of three tectonic plates, the islands resemble Hawaii, with an almost subtropical climate, and volcanic activity. It is a privilege to visit. I hope you enjoy my photos. Next stop, in three days time, Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦. I will check in when we next reach port. 🚒 πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ 🐠 🌊
