I bought The Temporary Bride by Jennifer Klinefelter, from a dollar store in HiltonHead USA. I have family from Iran and love food so I was drawn to this memoir. It has proved a great holiday read. Jennifer, certainly has an intriguing and unusual life. After getting used to the authors writing style, I grew to love it. This practical, thinking woman, falls in love, and learns the heart will go to any lengths to secure its desire.

Thanks for the review. I have found quite a few gems in the Dollar Store book section. It’s sad that some authors just don’t get a good marketing agent. But then again, that’s where we come in. Right?

So true Ron. I would have happily paid full price for The Temporary Bride. I’ve written reviews all over social media. Jennifer does have a publisher. I love memoir, so this book winked at me from the shelf. I’m an Indy Author so do all my own marketing etc. I’m in research mode for the next book. So my marketing is on the back burner for the moment.
