My lovely father-in-law, Mike Woodhouse, has safely arrived in the US. His journey with Air Lingus from Dublin was enhanced with a generous upgrade to business-class. Thank you Air Lingus. It was worth Mike travelling to Dublin, as he went through immigration there and the flights were more affordable. He changed in New York for a code-share Jet Blue to Ft. Lauderdale.
He has brought with him, cloudy skies and wind, but, tomorrow we set sail for sunny seas, with happy memories of a sunlit Pompano Beach.

That is indeed a neat thing about Dublin: you can clear immigration and customs for the U.S. there. Didn’t know that when I planned a trip to France on Are Lingus three years ago, so it was a pleasant surprise!
