Hi Deborah, the daffodils are shop bought, English grown. Perhaps not essential, but they lift my soul. My Klimt vase is a treasured gift from my eldest son, Max. How lovely that you are reading Amaliaβs Journey. Iβm honoured. My grandmother was a remarkable woman, and her journey was through the years of the Spanish flu epidemic, so Amalia is in frequently in my thoughts at the moment. I feel I have more insightful empathy, to her situation. Thank you, a review will be most welcome. Reviews are the feedback that enable me to hone my writing style. Keep safe and thank you for your support and interest π π βοΈ π
Sorry for being slow in seeing your message. And, yes, my thoughts often go back 100 years or so, and the horrendous shock and conditions that generation went through with World War 1 followed by Spanish ‘Flu. Stay safe and well yourself. Best Regards, Deborah
Nice. Ours are all gone but the summer gardens are beginning to bloom.

Our daffodils have all passed over, but your vase of fresh ones is an uplifting sight! (I like the Klimt vase as well.)
I’m using the lockdown to catch up on some reading – and I’m enjoying ‘Amalia’s Journey’ at the moment! Will review properly when I finish it.
Stay safe,
Deborah
