A Grand Adventure Begins

My husband and I are on a grand adventure that will take us to South America! We are leaving from London, where we have spent two nights exploring the city. We were lucky to have brilliant sunshine as we visited the Commonwealth War Graves Memorial of WW1. There, we honoured my great uncle’s son, Otto Henseluck, who died in the Great War. He served under the name Robert Smith and was only 17 when his ship, SS Grestaton, was torpedoed by a German submarine on 11 April 1917. His story is told in the book Mizpah Cousins.

Enjoy the video of our fun day in London, and look out for our next destination, Athens.
