Postcard from Naples

On our journey, we cruised past, the volcano island of Stromboli. The crater was puffing multi coloured smoke, but no glowing lava.

Our morning arrival in Naples, was delayed by high winds and grey cloud. The weather improved, for our walk around part of the old town. Our first stop, was at, Piazza Del Plebiscito, where we explored the apricot hued, royal palace. Opposite the palace, the magnificent church, San Francesco di Paola. We rambled on, past apartments piled high, in the hill side. Charming streets, cobbled and colourful. The sea was still bashing the port walls but brilliant sunshine, brought afternoon cheer.

The last photo of the video, is of Mount Vesuvius, which can been seen from where our ship is docked.
