We’ve been diverted to the Canary Islands off Africa, due to stormy seas. These charming Spanish islands offered welcome refuge. Arriving in Las Palmas, to blue skies and 21c, we headed for the beach. Huge rollers cascaded in, thankfully cresting on a reef, leaving a calm swimming water. The current was strong, but the experience, exhilarating.
The evening brought moody skies, as we enjoyed some local beer.
Please share with us our memorable afternoon.

great place to visit. That was part of our trans Atlantic voyage. Where is the next stop?

The Canary Islands were a swap, due to storms, for Lisbon and The island of Medeira. We’ve loved the detour. Yesterday, in Tenerife was our last port of call. Next stop, Fort Lauderdale. Good morning from a sunny Atlantic Ocean, which we will be traversing for the next 8 days. I love sea days, I get lots of writing done. Hope you are keeping well, and thank you for sharing our adventures.
