We sadly did not try the black balsam. I bought some amber in the market. We had a lovely meal. I tried the blood sausage with fried cabbage, washed down with the local dry cider. Thank you for commenting.

Fabulous photos of another very beautiful city. And blue sky and sunshine… what more could you ask? I noticed some of the people looked chilly. too, but I suppose that’s only to be expected in Latvia at this time of year. I haven’t got my bobble hat out, just yet but another month and I will be doing. š It’s good to know you’re having such a great holiday.
