Yesterday, we had a fun trip to Puerto Del Carmen, a 45min bus from Costa Teguise, where we are staying. We had a delicious meal (and a few beers) in the old town, which, to be frank, is the only part of Puerto del Carmen I liked. The rest of the town seems closely built with few trees or parks and lots of traffic.
But, the old town has some charming buildings. The old fishermen cottages, right on the seashore, with steps down to their fishing boats. The ubiquitous volcanoes, charm the horizon, a constant reminder of the islands fiery history.
Video montage is nice. How is traveling? Are there many restrictions? All our trips were postponed until 2022. We’ll see.

Thank you. Travelling was easy enough, from UK to Lanzarote. We had to prove we were double vaccinated, in both countries. Spain also did a temperature test, and a health form on arrival. At the moment we have to do a PCR test before returning home, and 2, 2 days apart on our return. But, that might change tomorrow, to no testing. We traveled business class, to have more room on BA. Felt safe at Heathrow and on the plane, everyone wearing masks. Here, on the island, everywhere is covid conscious, so clean, distancing and masks. We’re eating in al fresco locations, and keeping ourselves to ourselves. Hopefully we won’t suffer huge queues when we return home, I’ll let you know. We’ve come for a good chunk of time to make it worthwhile, and as we’ll be home bound from October dues to work commitments. Hope all is well with you my friend. Keep safe.
